Since the formation of the company Phillips McDougall has operated in co-operation with Kleffmann & Partner GmbH and Co. which is headquartered in Ludinghausen, Germany and has offices or representation in most leading country markets. The company specialises in farmer-based studies on agrochemicals, crop biotechnology and seed and operates the greatest number of proprietary panels of all basic agricultural market research companies. In February 2001 this relationship was formalised through the formation of the Amis Global joint venture.

Through this relationship Phillips McDougall and Kleffmann can offer data, analysis and consultancy at all levels of the industry from global analysis, company strategy, benchmarking and merger and acquisition work through to product studies by crop, country, formulation or brand.

Other Consultants

Phillips McDougall have also set up a network of individual consultants targeted at broadening the coverage of both the AgriService and Amis Global. This network provides access to basic market data and knowledge particularly in country markets where Kleffmann is not as yet present. This resource base assists the company in providing detailed consultancy studies incorporating information on smaller markets, whilst also providing data to maintain the AgriService as the most comprehensive and accurate analysis tool available.

OTO Corporation

OTO Corporation is the exclusive representative for Phillips McDougall in the Japanese market. The company manages all elements of sales and marketing as well as providing a communication service to assist in the organisation of consultancy studies with companies in Japan.
