AMIS Global is the first database in the crop protection and seeds industries that provides a link between global market analysis, provided by the Phillips McDougall AgriService, and basic market research data, AMIS data provided by Kleffmann. AMIS Global is the product of a joint venture between these two companies.

The aim of AMIS Global is to provide an easy to use rapid database allowing review of global markets by geography and crop, assessment of the leading country markets by crop and product sector and then the key products used, both formulations and active ingredients. The value of the major seed markets are also presented, along with data on the leading varieties by country and crop. The programme is designed to allow rapid assessment of the most important target crop and country markets for agrochemical products and the major competing compounds in each segment.

AMIS Global is presented in on CD Rom and is designed for ease of operation on intranet systems. The database is provided on the same technology platform as the Phillips McDougall AgriService, both products can operate alongside each other as if in a single database.

Additional Information by crop and country markets is available through the AMIS Global Select support system, whilst full quantitative and qualitative market data can be supplied through the Kleffmann AMIS system.
